Chapter 88: Fight in the thunderstorm part 4

Nar and Sas, along with Jean, who clearly did not agree with my idea, started attacking the guy from Aru Village. They attack him relentlessly with all their might, and considering how strong the three of them are, even a warrior from Aru Village will have trouble, but since I said loudly that I wanted to fight him one on one, the guy is still able to ignore Nar, Sas, and Jean's attack and come straight at me. Good! I wanted to defeat him myself.

I know that the people of Aru Village are all strong. Even though I hate them with all my heart, there's no denying their strength. They love to brag about their strength, and rightly so. I may be blessed, but my blood factor of someone from Aru Village still plays a role, and as such, even if I wanted to defeat him, I'm sure I'd get hurt badly.

"Those are nice eyes. You're becoming more like us every day. We are people blessed by fairies, we are strong, fearless warriors. I'm sure I couldn't bring you back to the village without breaking a bone or two! Come at me, fellow warriors of the village of Aru. Let our blood boil. Let our lust for blood and battle soar high into the sky!"

"I may have the same blood as you. But I won't become like you! Every day is fun, every day I wake up with those I love. Every day I am reminded of how blessed I am. If the blood in me awakens more, it's only because I want to help and protect them all! [Diana]

Me? Become like them? Never! It's disgusting! I don't want to become cruel like them! They killed for no reason. They even beat a child just for fun. They wanted to sell me. They justify their actions with blood and money. It is inevitable that I will be compared to them, but I won't accept it if the aspect of me being compared to them is the disgusting side!

"Deny it all you want! You are one of us. Even Dana mercilessly attacks strongholds all over the Empire, with no compassion for the soldiers stationed there. You and Dana are one of us and will become one of us sooner or later!"

"We won't!" [Diana]

As we traded physical and magical blows, with both sides screaming at each other, our battle attracted the attention of nearby adventurers and knights. They're trying to defeat the behemoth, and yet they couldn't help but help me as well. Unfortunately, they're up against a monster of disaster themselves, some of whom are capable of taking the dragon itself, and so Randy reminds them to keep their attention on the behemoth.

"Believe in her! Believe in her guardian too!" [Randy].

Taking one of his thunderstone imbued wands, a wand only half the length of his forearm, Sas approaches the guy and begins to electrocute him. Of course, that alone wouldn't hurt him, and Sas is fully aware of that. Using his wind magic, he amplified it more and more. The guy from Aru Village tried to fight back, but I wouldn't let him.

"Freeze!" [Diana]

"Impudent!"

"Just shut up and get down!" [Nar]

"Don't interfere with our fight!"

"You think we'll sit still while you try to hurt our precious little girl?" [Jean]

With the thunderstorm raging on, amplifying my water and ice magic, and Sas' constant magical onslaught, we are slowly but surely wearing him down. While Sas's mana is enormous, more than your average mage's, it's his control over his magic that shines. Even an ordinary spell coming from Sas is like a medium to high level spell. His control is second to none, and his refined technique, spell, and the magic circle he prepared beforehand further amplify his power.

"YOU BASTARD!"

He's like a beast cornered for his life. Luckily, Nar starts punching him left and right with his fist. Again, I'm impressed by the teamwork between Nar and Sas. Nar isn't hurt at all by Sas' spell! Nothing. How they did it is beyond me, but they did. It is as if they instinctively understand what the other is going to do, even without looking at each other.

"Diana! Let's finish this!" [Nar]

"YES!" [Diana]

I jump high into the sky. Jean, knowing what I will do, cloaks me with her wind spell. I start to chant an earth spell to strengthen my wand, making the already harder than steel wand even harder, and in a single sweep I hit his head right on the spot! Of course he tried to block it, but Nar wouldn't let him.

"Gahh..."

"He fainted... Finally..." [Nar]

"I'll tie him up and stand guard. You two should go and help them defeat the behemoth" [Jean]

"I'll help as well. Beating him with your help left a sour taste in my mouth..." [Diana]

"Just rest. If anything, just keep an eye on this person. We don't want him to suddenly wake up and start wreaking havoc" [Sas].
