Chapter 87: Fight in the thunderstorm part 3

Nar is currently fighting the strong looking guy, while Sas is currently fighting the guy from Aru Village. Since the two baddies were injured from the Behemoth's attack earlier, I thought Nar and Sas would dominate the fight. They are, but surprisingly, they are having a hard time holding their opponents down.

"Tchh... They must have taken something" [Nar]

"Or received something" [Sas]

The strong-looking guy doesn't even flinch when he's stabbed from his left ear to his throat by Nar's powerful sword attack. He's actually anticipating the attack, and the moment the sword lands on his body, he grabs Nar's throat and wants to do something to Nar. It's not killing, there's that intention, but more than that, he's trying to do something more sinister. I'm not sure what, but I couldn't just let it go.

"Water torrent!" [Diana]

"Haaah!" [Jean]

I tried to cut the strong looking guy arm while Jean tried to do the same with her sword. He simply dodged both of our attacks while still holding on to Nar, but our surprise attack caught him off guard and gave Nar the strength he needed to escape the strong looking man's grasp.

"Bastard. You're trying to control me through THE THING" [Nar].

"As expected, you already knew. I wonder if you know what our organization, The Illumination, is thinking right now."

"About to when I drag you to our prison!" [Nar]

(So that's what they call themselves) [Sas]

"Hey! Do you really think you can afford to look the other way while fighting someone from Aru Village?"

The Illumination? What is that? And I'm not wrong! It really is THE THING in the body of that strong looking guy. I'm not sure what kind of blessing THE THING has given him, but he pulls out Nar's sword all by himself, without any painkillers and without caring about his own spurting blood. It's horrible, and yet he doesn't seem to care.

"Excellent sword. Heavy, powerful, it has the characteristics to reflect both magic and physical attack. Its mana and aura conductivity is also high. It even has the blessing of a mighty god. God of War perhaps? How about you try your own sword!"

He swings Nar's sword, but Nar, unfazed by the incoming attack, simply hits the strong looking guy in the stomach before delivering an aura-infused blow to his jaw, knocking the guy up. Nar uses this opportunity to retrieve his sword, and as he does so, he stabs the strong-looking guy in the heart, sending a powerful shockwave through his aura. The shockwave causes the Strong-Iooking guy's lungs and heart to fly out of his chest. Nar continued his attack by redirecting his sword to the abdomen, and once again, the Tough Guy's organs were scattered everywhere.

"THE THING is really something. To make a zombie like you so powerful" [Nar].

"So you noticed?"

"ZOMBIE!?" [Diana]

Can a zombie be all-powerful? I mean, if it's the corpse of a legendary hero or a dragon or something powerful, sure, but, I can't see this strong looking guy having any qualities of a legendary person. If anything, he doesn't even look like a zombie, so how did Nar figure it out?

The zombie that heals itself back also takes his heart that was on the ground. There's already a heart formed in his chest, and now he has two hearts. It feels like having two hearts will make him stronger and yet

"Will not change the result. It doesn't matter what you do. I am already winning this battle" [Nar].

True, Nar is dominating this entire battle. I don't see how the zombie can win, not by a long shot. I'm sure the zombie must have realized that as well.

The zombie looks at the guy from the Aru village and starts to approach him. I guess since he couldn't control Nar through THE THING, he wanted the Aru villager to be under the control of THE THING.

"Did you really think THE THING could influence us, someone whose bloodline was blessed by the fairies! How naive of you! LISTEN! We from the village of Aru serve no one. Not you. Not THE THING. Not the Empire. Not even our leader, if need be. We are our own master. Our own warrior, and someone who doesn't understand that will be their undoing!"

The zombie, unfazed throughout the battle, begins to show signs of struggle. I'm not sure how, maybe sacred magic, maybe, just maybe, but there's more to it than just sacred magic. Just as I am able to cleanse THE THING from Kara and Mara, this guy from the village of Aru is doing something similar. Almost a similar thing, there's a difference, subtle, but I can tell. He didn't completely cleanse it, more like he forcefully detached THE THING from the zombie.

Now that he was just a piece of flesh, it didn't take much more than a single punch from the guy from the village of Aru to defeat the zombie.

"Strong, but... Water torrent!" [Diana]

"DIANA!?" [Sas]

"Nar! Sas! Can you leave him to me? I wanted to beat him myself!" [Diana]

"Ooh... A fight between us two! Bring it on!"
