Chapter 14: About Fairy Blessing

The inside of the hut is bigger than it looks from the outside. It's not as big as the castle or the mansion, but it's huge, that's for sure. There's a lot of equipment lying here and there, with dolls cleaning the places. There is also a black cat and kittens playing with their toys.

I take a seat on the wooden chair with the witch who calls herself Merlin. She uses her magic to prepare all the snacks. It appears reddish, this snack, and have a very spicy smell to it. Seeing my reaction, she brings out the milder version of the snack. Surprisingly, it's addictive, so I can't stop munching

"So, Diana, what brought you here?" [Merlin]

"Just following the cat." [Diana]

"Dear me, now that I think about it, I saw you with Five eyes yesterday. I guess Five just brought you here today because I was interested in you yesterday" [Merlin]

"Five?" [Diana]

"The name of the black cat you just saw" [Merlin]

"I see" (Strange naming. I'm sure the others are called one, two, three and four) [Diana]

"You're thinking something rude, aren't you?" [Merlin]

"No..." [Diana]

But it is weird. I thought she was going to give the cat some witchy name, like... I don't know any examples, but definitely not Five.

Anyway, sweetie, you definitely did not use your blessing properly. It's understandable, your body hasn't been trained to handle that much blessing yet" [Merlin].

"I can train my body to use my blessing properly?" [Diana]

"In a sense, yes" [Merlin]

So I can become even more powerful! That's great, but...

"What does this fairy blessing do? All I know is that it can detect danger and allow me to use magic" [Diana].

"Hmm? I see... You're misunderstanding something. In a way, this blessing has allowed you to use YOUR magic" [Merlin].

"Meaning?" [Diana]

Well, let me explain" [Merlin]

Merlin takes out several bottles of water. With it, a frog (I don't know how she makes it appear out of nowhere, the frog just appears). She calms the toad with a sleep spell (she called it sedative) and a pain spell (she called it analgesia).

"Why did you prick the frog?" [Diana]

"You'll see." [Merlin]

She pours the first bottle of water into the place where she pricked the frog, and nothing happens. Then she uses the second bottle, and the spot stops bleeding. The third bottle causes some changes in the frog's skin, it becomes shinier, and finally

"Now, how about you pour your blood into it" [Merlin].

"Huh?" [Diana]

"Just a little prick won't hurt" [Merlin]

Since she insisted, I bite my finger a little, and the very little blood that came out instantly heals the frog, from the spell, from the effect of the strange water, and from its injury. It looks happy and jumps around with joy. It also seems to be getting stronger.

""As you can see, this is the Fairy Spring Blessing. It causes your body to become stronger, dispels all harm, and draws out all the power within you. In short, you will become a superhuman with great strength, magic, and healing" [Merlin].

"Wow!" [Diana]

Now I get it! It means that I can actually use all kinds of magic from the beginning, just that the water from the fairy spring allows me to do it more easily. That's why I can feel myself becoming more energetic, and I can also heal any small wound easily!

"That's why the people of Aru Village are strong! Fairy Springs are really powerful!" [Diana]

"That's right, but now, you're the fairy spring itself" [Merlin].

"Since Fairy Queen Titania gave it to me?" [Diana]

"Yes. She pour all of it into you. In fact, your entire body is blessed by the fairy spring. You can use your hair, your blood, or even your nail as a material in medicine and it will be super effective" [Merlin].

"I see. I see. I must thank the Fairy Queen properly" [Diana].

"Yes, for the Fairy Spring and for the blessing she gave you" [Merlin].

"There's more?" [Diana]

"True. Titania gave you her power and blessing as well. You'll become a bit mischievous like her, like a real fairy, so you should be able to communicate with animals and plants, as well as sense any danger" (I'm sure that the sense of danger is for her to avoid people with bad intentions, who knows what they will do to her if they find out about her blessing.) [Merlin].

"That explains a lot!" [Diana]

So I become a super human along with being able to communicate with plant and animal! I'm so excited!

"But unfortunately, you are still immature. You should train your blessing properly" [Merlin].

"How?" [Diana]

"Easy, I will train you. Just come here whenever I call you and we will begin your training" [Merlin]

I'm so excited. I can't wait!

"For now, take this" [Merlin]

"What is this?" [Diana]

"It's a wand made from the World Tree. Our first goal is for you to grow the wand properly so that you can better use your power, and also so that you can cure the two twins with the curses yesterday" [Merlin]

"!" [Diana]
